Harbert Retail’s Casey Howard and Thomas Hickman represented the landlord of Parkside at Dolly Ridge in a new deal with a popular breakfast and brunch restaurant. Big Bad Breakfast (BBB) will occupy the ±3,048 SF former Biscuit Love space at the center. This marks BBB’s 4th location in the Birmingham metro area and 8th in the state. Big Bad Breakfast (BBB) is a popular restaurant chain founded by James Beard Award-winning Chef John Currence. The core concept behind BBB is to elevate the “most important meal of the day” – breakfast – with a strong Southern influence and an emphasis on scratch-made, high-quality ingredients. John Currence, CEO and Founder of BBB, shared his thoughts on the new location: “I love the Cahaba Heights area!! As a non-native, it feels like this little hidden gem of a neighborhood tucked away just off of 280, that feels worlds away. Watching the thoughtful and measured development in the last 5 years has been an inspiration and we could not be luckier to have found a little spot on Dolly Ridge to set up our fourth Birmingham location. The city has been so good to us for the past decade, it is hard for me to fully express. We just could not be happier to find another wonderful spot in the Magic City to plant a BBB seed!”
Boasting 100% occupancy, Parkside at Dolly Ridge is a vibrant ±14,935 square foot, two-level, mixed-use development. Its prime location next to Cahaba Heights Elementary and the new Cahaba Heights Athletic Fields attracts a strong tenant mix, including Grandview Medical Group, BODYBAR Pilates, Kares Salon, Infinity Personal Training, and SWTHZ.
