Prominent Forest Park restaurant Rougaroux will open a second location in Spring 2023 in Mountain Brook Village at 2716 Culver Road. The former 1,269 SF Sneaky Pete’s will be redesigned into a unique space. Architect Andrew Taylor is working closely with the Rougaroux team to preserve the character of the existing space while delivering a restaurant that is functionally brand new and satisfies all modern code requirements. Hallmark Builders will be the general contractor for the project.
“We believe that Rougaroux is a wonderful fit for Mountain Brook Village because it appeals to a wide range of customers and there’s nothing comparable in the Village,” stated Jay and Theresa Friedman, owners of the building. “We are personally huge fans of the Forest Park Rougaroux. We believe this second location will provide patrons with a different experience but the same fantastic food. We hope Rougaroux will become a staple in Mountain Brook Village for years to come.”
Harbert Realty’s John Tally represented the landlord in the deal and sourced Rougaroux for the space as well. “Without the hard work of Harbert broker John Tally, this would not have been possible,” stated the Friedmans. “Mr. Tally assembled the team and put the deal together from scratch. Mr. Tally is a true professional and a pleasure to work with.”
